"I know these tournaments are never without complications and headaches and that's what you guys usually hear about. I am sure this won't surprise you but I wanted you to hear from at least one parent about what a great experience my son Patrick had on the U-17 B (Junior B) team. In particular, the coaching was fantastic. I can't remember when I have seen more active and effective instruction by coaches during a tournament. Not only were they instructed how to be better lacrosse players, but how to be better teammates and better men. The team's improvement over just a few days was remarkable.

I have seen and been around many coaches in many sports both as a parent and as an individual. Including having access to many professional teams and coaches in my past profession. Ryan is fortunate that because of all of you he is being considered for opportunities of higher education he would never been afforded with out each of yours influence! I was amazed with the coaches, their energy and care for the players. As a former olympic level athlete myself, I know the only way to get "there" is with the quality you all have in leadership. I hope my son has the chance to play under your leadership as I believe you all are the hope for the future, not only for lacrosse, but for this generation of "iffy" possible "mooks".
I would like to request that you all videotape your speeches at the end of the tournament (especially coach Silva) and youtube it or link it from your site. I would play it every morning for inspiration if I could and probably make more money in sales!

I would like to thank you for the opportunity for my son XXXXX to tryout for this year’s U15 teams in Jupiter during the weekend of May 8th and 9th. It was eye-opening and great for the sport to see so many talented kids all enduring the heat and playing a game we have come to love.
As a 9th grader at Lake Highland this year, my son started every game for the JV team and was one of the leading Midfield scorers, not only due to the goals he made, but also in the many assists he had. While he did not show his true abilities at the try-out, I felt he was above the average of the boys in his position.

"Jeff and Team Florida Staff,
I was in Jupiter for the last two weekends. I have two boys, one who tried out for U15 and another who tried out for U17. We all enjoyed both weekends very much.
I was impressed by many elements of the program but two really stood out:
1.Sportsmanship and appreciation were recurring themes. Lacrosse culture holds sportsmanship higher than any other sport in which my boys have participated and Team Florida reinforced this culture consistently.
2. Inspiration to push to the next level. I saw both my kids do things at Team Florida I have never seen them do before. The Team Florida environment pushed my kids to strive harder than I have ever seen them strive before.
Of the 400 or so kids who participated over the two weekends, perhaps half or so will make Team Florida. Of those who make Team Florida, few will play lacrosse in college.
For the vast majority, the major benefit of participation in Team Florida is developing character. While a minority will go on to play in college, all will learn life lessons that will help them prosper for the rest of their lives.
You have created a powerful tool that is honing leaders who will solve many problems the world will face in the years to come. All the kids, whether they make Team Florida or not, become stronger by battling for their spot. Decades from now, thousands of Team Florida alumni will be using the lessons they learned through Team Florida to make a difference in the world.

I know that all of our parents and players were very happy about the whole process-especially being included in the All Star Game. This meant alot to those young players. Most exciting, the idea that some players were actually getting college looks right then and there was a big turn on for everyone; most parents never expected that and the word will spread. While I know the process takes more than just a look, the excitement you have created through this one-of-a-kind event here in Florida is amazing. Finally, the fields, refs and support staff were all excellent, as usual. You even managed to order up the best weather ever; you have great connections! Congratulations on another great tryout."
"Congratulations on a fantastic event this past weekend in Jupiter, Florida. This event was absolutely first class and extremely well run. No waiting around. No wasted energy. Every one knew ahead of time what was happening. There seemed to be a great turn out of college coaches to evaluate the players. The individual team coaching was superb. "Just a quick note of thanks for the Lacrosse weekend. We are so glad our good friends the XXXXX (strongly) encouraged Jon to participate! Your staff made it possible for my son to take part even though I had a more difficult than expected recovery from hand surgery, and was not able to register him before the deadline. XXXXXX was a football/basketball guy who started Lacrosse a year ago, and he's loving it, making sure his little brother started last summer at nine years old. He had a great deal of playing time this weekend, and told me he learned so much playing with the best of the best in Florida.
